Turbo Gin and Tonic is the new Brunch Cocktail

By now, you are well acquainted with a classic brunch cocktails The bloody Mary Espresso Martini Buck Fizz to name a few. But have you tried the latest gin trend, a Turbo Gin and Tonic? It’s like our beloved G&T just with one extra kick.

The Turbo Gin & Tonic takes two of the UK’s favourite drinks and brings them together in a punchy flavour combination – gin and coffee. Yes, it’s a morning drink and an evening drink in one (although we certainly wouldn’t recommend trying one of these first thing!)


You may think that the coffee would drown out any taste of the gin or tonic but, in fact, the botanic hints in the gin and the bitter tonic really do hold their own – the coffee simply adds an awakening caffeine hit. It’s rather like an Espresso Martini with a gin twist.

  • 35ml Gin (KAM uses Sipsmith at Junipalooza)
  • 10ml Cold Brew Coffee
  • Tonic water
  • Lemon peel to garnish


  • Pour the gin over ice into a Collins glass.
  • Add the cold brew coffee, then top up with tonic water and garnish with a long lemon peel.
