KAM Design European Food & Wine Trail

Raising some money, whilst raising a glass (or 2) – to be precise £1500.19

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon, which is exactly what we did at the beginning of March at KAM Design’s food and wine trail.

Joined by old and new customers, friends within our business, our suppliers and of course our families we spent an afternoon sampling delicious foods from various European countries and of course complimenting this with wine from regions within. Michael our very knowledgeable sommelier guided our guests through a large variety of grapes to suit every taste.

The main reason for having all this fun was of course to raise money for Lymphoma Association.  We couldn’t be more pleased with the support shown to this cause not only by the visitors to our event but also our friends within our industry who so kindly sponsored the event.

About the Lymphoma Association

Founded by patients in 1986, the Lymphoma Association is a UK charity dedicated to providing specialist medical information and support to people affected by lymphatic cancer including families, friends and carers.

Every year, more than 19,000 new cases of lymphoma are identified in the UK alone, making it the 5th most common cancer diagnosed by clinicians. Lymphatic cancer can occur in both men and women at any age but is most common in people over 55. It is also the most frequently diagnosed cancer in teenagers and young adults.

The services that we offer include a Freephone helpline, award-winning free patient information, a buddy scheme with telephone links to others with similar experiences, local support groups, regional patient conferences and a website featuring forums.
